AC Element setup in Xlights
« on: December 31, 2018, 03:07:27 PM »
Trying to put some ICAN/static LED strings in Xlights.

From what I've read, you define these as single color in string properties.  However when I try to select 'single color' from the drop down in string properties, it won't save - keeps reverting to BRGW Nodes.

Any insight?

What version of xlights are you using?

I just tried on my version 59 changing a string to single color and I see what you mean, it looks like a bug.

It is a bug. Ignore what it says it is internally setting it as single colour but displaying it wrong.

Using the latest - (2019.1) - I kinda figured it may be a bug, but wanted to ask.

I know ICAN support isn't the highest priority, but moving into pixels and new controllers this year and didn't want to lose functionality on the old AC elements & associated controllers that I will be keeping.

Last night was the last show for me this season.  I planned on experimenting with my 'next year' network setup before I box everything back up.  I'll just ignore it for now and run with it.

Thanks
