xShedule question
« on: January 01, 2019, 01:16:32 PM »
We ran our show on xSchedule this year.  Since our show is at a off site location, it was important that it run without interaction.  I'm happy to say that it ran without issue and was rock solid.  We ran it from a laptop this year, but would like to move to a RPi 3+ next year.  I know we can run FPP as we do that for a stand alone matrix, but we would rather use xScheule as it appears more feature rich.  Is this already possible or are there any plans to port xSchedule to run on a Pi?

Even if I come up with a headless version of xschedule I would never officially support it on the pi. From the dramas fpp has experienced over the years there are just too many things that need to be just right for it to work. If you want to run on a pi use fpp.

What features are you using in Xschedule that aren't available in FPP? That should be what steers your decision. Both are good systems.
