Default On colors for pixel models

I have a mixture of ac and pixel props.  So I use the On effect a lot.  I would love if I could set the colors on a prop (for example red and white candy canes) and the On effect to use those colors for that prop.  It would help a lot with ac sequencing.  Any thoughts?

You can set the string colour.
