Select inner object in 3D layout

Hi All,

Trying to set-up my layout in the new 3D and am having trouble figuring out how to select a model that is inside another model. I have dual arches that have a larger outer and smaller inner arch.  I cannot figure out how to select the inner one to move it without having to move the larger one out of the way first and then put it back.  Am I missing something?

That's what you'll have to do.  For the 3D view objects I added an Active parameter that you could use to turn them on/off but models don't have that field.
