xSchedule crossfade/fade up/down
« on: February 20, 2019, 07:57:43 PM »
I am using xSchedule to drive a large matrix.  I'd like to be able to, based on an external MIDI or OSC event,
crossfade from one playlist step or playlist to another or fade to black and stop a playlist.  I've looked through the commands available in the events, but didn't see anything that would accomplish what I am looking to do.  Is there a way to do this in xSchedule?

You could create a playlist. Trigger it from your event. Play a fade and then trigger a command to kill the running playlist. So yeah you probably could do this.

When I try this and trigger a second playlist with the fade in it, it immediately stops the playlist that is playing.  It seems that you can only have a single playlist running at once?

No. You can have many many event playlists running at the same time as your main playlist.
