xlights run

have a sequence on xlights and I runs on the screen but not on the lights.  Light test on xlights works.  Any ideas?  brnd new to xlights.

lets start with the basic     in the list of icons  all the way to the right is the light bulb clicked on  to work it needs to be yellow with an up arrow in it.
