Matrix Setup Question
« on: March 06, 2019, 02:26:24 PM »
I recently purchased and want to use a Falcon V48 to run a matrix I have.

The matrix is a 25x25 node matrix.  I  previously set this up as a vertical matrix with a single string and 25 strands.  I had this controlled by 5 pixel net pipe bomb controllers, each programmed to the correct starting channel count.

With the V48 setup I was hoping to run this with a 4 port receiver.  I want to use 2 strings of 208 nodes and one string of 209 nodes.  Is there a way to define a matrix model using strings of different numbers of nodes?

I can still use my previous method and then go to the V48 define each port there but I was hoping I could do all the work in Xlights and update the V48 with the info.

Thanks.

Define it as one string but you will have to manually configure the controller.

Just try it...then right-click the model in Layout and show the node layout.  If it matches what you have wired then its right.
