It's that time of year again....
Last year was my first year in this and I had a great show that I put together for my hometown downtown celebration! It was pretty simple as I had a 16 strand mega tree with a star on top using a network switch. I purchased everything from Holidaycoro and he was great getting me up and running. I knew I wanted to add to it for this year and I ended up purchasing more lights and an extra controller for this year.
I have 2, 16 output Alphapix controllers and 1, 4 output (I used this one for the star on top of the tree) Alphapix controller. So here is where my brain is getting hung up (please direct me to a previous post or even a video that may have covered this). I am wanting to expand my tree from 16 (100 pixels per strand) strands to 24 strands and add 4 arches. How do I add the 2nd 16 pixel controller in with this setup? Will I add the network ID and map 6 strands to that controller?
Again, I am sorry if I am not conveying this clearly. I went all in for 2 months last year, boxed everything up and am now trying to get my head in the game!! Thank you all for your help!
