Newbie Question - xLights not communicating with FPP or F16v3
« on: October 10, 2019, 06:39:51 PM »
I was having issues with getting a 4 channel differential receiver working so I decided to upgrade FPP from 2.x to 3.3. Not I can't get xLights to connect with FPP or F16v3. I have a feeling that it is something simple, but can't seem to figure it out.

FPP wifi is on different subnet with laptop. FPP and F16v3 on small switch. If I plug my laptop on the small switch and on the 10.10.10.x subnet, it works.

Here are screen shots. Let me know if you need more details to assist.

I am able to do everything via FPP so it seems to be an xLight issue. Either with an update or a setting with Fpp v3.3 and xLight 2019.56

If you switched ips then you dont have a static route to get from xlights to the show network?
..you can use the new proxy option of xlights in the setup tab along with the fpp proxy in fpp to negate the need for a static route. Perhaps hop on zoom (xlights.org zoom button) for some folks to look it over.
