Merge audio with sequence in NC

How do I merge the audio files with the xseq sequence file.

I do have audacity installed but do not want to fix timings etc as the sequencing has been done. Do I need to convert the mp3 to a different format.

Help requested. Thank you

Seems like the audio file and the sequence should have the same name. My MP3 had a different name.

The XML and XSEQ files must have the same name, but the MP3 or OGG files can have a different name. The name of the music file you start with is embedded in the XSEQ file (along with its length in milliseconds).

When xLights plays your XSEQ file, it will look in your common file folder for that music file.

I dont understand what you are trying to do. let me give you some examples

1) convert LOR lms file into xseq. LOR file has a music file name in it, that file will be put into the xseq file.
2) Create a new sequence in xlights from a sound file (Option 3 of open). You give it a sound file and maybe an audacity timing file or a xml file. Output is an xseq file with the sound file stored.

How did you create an xseq without the sound file?

Be specific of what you are doing and ill help you get sound file into xseq. We dont have an obvious ; open a cseq file and allow you to change the sound file name in it. There is a way to do this but i need to know what your flow is

I am having a similar issue.  I converted my sequences from vixen3 to vixen2 to slights.  The sequences output to the lights great, but I get no audio.  The audio files are in my show folder, but do not play.  I tried converting the sequences to fpp and then to slights, but I get the same results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
