2020.9 AlphaPix Port assignment

If you have an AlphaPix 16 controller and are working in the Layout tab, you can only assign ports 1-3. It looks like it is using the Serial Port capabilities (only 3 ports) for the string ports?

I would need to see your layout to see why.

Here you go. If I try to assign the Star to any port larger than 3. you get an error and it reverts to port 3.

I tried and i had no problems setting the port number to something higher than 3.

That is odd, I reset my test configuration and I could set the port correctly, I downloaded the files I posted and I could set the port correctly, go figure... It works now.

If the protocol had been set to dmx this would be expected behaviour

No, the protocol was not DMX previously. I have some more information. When you add a new model, you are limited to ports 1-3. You cannot assign it to any other port. See attached video.
