Issue with wrong pixels lighting up
« on: September 18, 2020, 07:22:42 PM »
I'm having a problem and I feel it may just be me still trying to get away from the lor world and not understanding how xlights works.   I've got 6 props on 1 port.  (Like, 780 pixels).  4 vertical strips and 2 boscoyo 270 node stars.  Using the test function I can only get the first 2 strips to light correctly. When I try to turn on the stars random pixels in 3 different snowflakes are lighting, even tho the channels seem to be correct (numbers are contiguous and consistent throughout the 6 props on that port) AND the snowflakes are even on a different port and have their own correct channels which are not overlapping with the verticals or stars.  If anyone could give me an idea what's going on here or what to look for I would certainly appreciate it.  If more information is needed then I can supply it tomorrow after I get home from work.

I'd create a blank sequence with all models and then just drop an On or Butterfly effect on the model you want to test.  That Test page has been buggy in the past and I never use it because it's really not needed.

Ok, I'll try that too.  But what got me started trying to test them was in all my sequences I have issues with the  models on that port.  Sometimes they do what they are supposed to but most times they don't.   It's really strange to me.
