Split polyline across multiple ports?
« on: October 06, 2020, 11:34:09 AM »
I have a roof line modeled as a single polyline. It is actually two physical strings with a F4V3 controller in the middle with the strings connected to two ports. ex: 500 pixels <- F4V3 -> 500 pixels

I'm trying to use the controller/port mapping features and am not clear how to split the polyline model across two ports. Is the only option to use two distinct polylines and stick them in a group?

I went and played around more and maybe I found the solution?

I created two PolyLines, then put them into a group, and then set the group's default layout mode to Single Line. At least my cursory testing with effects seems to render as if it was a single polyline.

Yes that will work.
