Setup Fog Machine

Have a Chauvet DJ Hurricane 1800 Flex.  How do you set it up to run DMX?  Have watched videos for moving head but there is nothing for fog machine.  Tried following the setup for moving head but does not work

Add it as a moving head. Set display type to moving head bars. Set the number of channels.  Name the channels. Sequence with the dmx effect at the model level or the on effect at the node level. Ask in zoom if you get stuck.
