Mega Tree - 2 controllers Top and Bottom How do I do one Model?
« on: November 23, 2020, 01:21:28 PM »
Thank you in advance for the help!  I've got a 180 degree mega tree with 32 strands of 200 pixels.  We have one 32 channel HixPix Pro at the bottom running the bottom half of the tree (each strand has 100 pixels) and the second 32 channel HixPix Pro at the mid point of the tree running the upper 32 strands (again each with 100 pixels).  I have two models in xlights (Mega Tree Bottom, Mega Tree Top) and a group of the two models (Mega Tree Group).  This works for everything but faces....

I'd like to explore how to do one model in xlights in this configuration....is it possible?   Thank you in advance!

You should be able to model it as one tree and then you breakup the data however you need to when you configure your outputs in the controller setup.  I know I could do it with Falcon controllers but you lost me at HinxPix.  Forget about trying to configure the controllers in xLights just use it to create a block of data.

Thank you so much for the reply.  We'll give it a try on the controller side! - Respectfully Mark
