XScheduler - Resolved
« on: November 28, 2020, 05:01:36 PM »
When I run the lights in xlights on a sequence, they output correctly to everything.    But when xscheduler starts, the first two candy canes don't light up, but the third one in the group does.  So they are getting data and power.   My matrix is also putting out garbage.

Why would they output correctly in Xlights, but when the Xschedule is going night they don't work?

I'm running 2020.49.

TIA

Just needed to render all the sequences.

I'm having the exact same issue. When you say you just needed to render everything, what exactly did you do? I have three sequences in mine and I tried opening them one after another and rendering them but it had no effect. Did you do something else?

OK well I think I got it. I guess you can't have Xlights AND and the scheduler open at the same time? Or at least you can't have Xlights "ouput to lights" on while the scheduler is running.

Correct.  This messes a lot of people up, so don't feel alone!  :-)

Yes ... and its not just xLights and xSchedule ... any time you have more than one program sending light data most controllers will not know which to listen to and thus will listen to both.
