Sequence turned into blank animation, how to get it back?
« on: December 04, 2020, 04:08:20 PM »
Ok, So I was trying to convert a sequence I created to LOR. I had the timings set to 25, so it wouldn't let me convert it. Then I changed it to 30 with the help of another post. As soon as I changed it and clicked ok, my whole sequence appears to have turned blank. In the post I was following it said to reopen the sequence then, so I clicked open. It informed me that there were unsaved changes, and I clicked yes. When it reopened, it was still blank without even any music, and looking at the sequence settings it is now an animation sequence. What do I do now? I sure hope I don't need to do it again, I spent SOOOOOOO much time on it.

I have a similar problem running xLights 2020.1.  I developed a musical sequence, spent many hours getting things synced up to the music, saved it, got an .fseq file generated, then closed xLights.  When I reopened xLights, and opened the sequence, it was blank.  Very frustrating. Did I forget or miss a step necessary to reopen the sequence?

Pop into zoom and they will help you find the sequence in your backups if there.
