faces effects in xlights
« on: December 19, 2020, 11:40:18 PM »
the faces effect in xlights seems  very limited compared to what I've seen in other shows is it possible to upload more faces?

You need to define faces for whatever model you want to use them on.  Click on the model in Layout and then the three dots beside the Faces parameter.  Then you can click the 3 dots to Import from a Model or File or click Add and name a new face and then depending on the Face type you are defining you can choose Download Images from a bunch users have provided.

Follow what Gil said (for say a matrix or tree), when you choose download you'll get a big list, when you select one you'll see what it looks like in the box on the right.

There's also the shared google drive which has the ones above plus a few more

I know just enough to be dangerous :0

There are almost 200 faces for matrices built into xLights ... not sure how many you need?
