Windows 10 64Bit home
Downloaded and installed Xlights (C:\Program Files\xLights) to get familure with the program.
Apparently there are older and current "User manuals" for this software that can be accessed via the home page (https://xlights.org/).
The one you want for the current software version: https://manual.xlights.org/xlights/ (651 pages)
An older version via the WIKI (nutcracker site) link: https://xlights.org/xLights_User_Manual.pdf (227 pages).
Because the program UI is quite different between the 2 user manual versions, make sure you get the correct version of the manual (https://manual.xlights.org/xlights/) or your gonna be really confused like I was.
Not only is the order of install different between the 2 manuals, they both are different from the procedure listed on the download page (https://xlights.org/releases/)
As a new user, you may also need to download and install
Audacity first.
