Brand new to xlights and Kulp, a legacy LOR user.. I've seen dozens of youboob videos on how to configure FPP, which seems to be working out of my beagleboner F32 cape in bench testing. Youboob does not seem to have a viable video showing how to link xlights to the controller. Many different views on what protocol, I'd like to see about using E.131, running the show from my PC thru Xlights. Stand-alone 'maybe' in the future. Networking is set up, xlights can see the controller.
I'm planning on using 32 ports, 648 pixels each port in a matrix of 324 pixels by 64. (Yes, I know how to zig zag).
In FPP, I have my BBB strings set, 32 channels, etc .etc.
I'm looking for assistance in getting xlights configured to match the matrix. FPP is in bridge mode, yet I'm awash on how to configure the ethernet controller with all the parameters in xlights. I'm only going to use one controller at this time, but future plan to add many more. (I have legacy lor controllers by the dozens).
Can anyone provide a step-by step process? Theory here could help... DO I upload/download configuration to FPP/Xlights, do I do a 'discover' for the Kulp, how many universes, etc... Thanks in advance...
