I'm really stumped on this one!
I am trying to drive an 11 x 44 Matrix from xlights and it just doesn't seem to work.
My Matrix is connected to a FPP PiHat that has one string of 484 leds using 1452 channels and 3 Universes. When I "Display Test" using the FPP locally, all works as expected even down to "chasing" leds by the row. I don't believe the problem is in the PiHat setup.
This is the Led Matrix Display I am Using. It should be no different than stringing together 484 bullet leds in a matrix.

BUT, when I try to control the Matrix from xlights, leds light up but they seem to be scrambled.
The most obvious way to show this is by using a Single xlights ON Effect (i.e. Red) for the entire Matrix. (see attached photos below) The Matrix responds but with 3 sections of Red, Green and Blue. If I change the ON Effect color, each of the 3 sections change color. Selecting White shows as White except for a few pixels in between where the color sections used to be.
I believe I have set up the Matrix Model correctly (see photo below).
I am also using another Pi as a remote HDMI Matrix Display which is working as expected.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have been fighting this for 2 days.
All the best and stay safe and healthy,
Doug Hurrell
