Step by Step

Several times over the past couple of years (since it was created), I have tried to build a 3-D representation of a drive-thru area that we have to work in.  Quite honestly I have failed.  Each year I end up going back to a 2-D version of the layout, and jump through some hoops to make things work.

This year the game is changing and I believe a 3-D setup would be perfect.

I just need intense step-by-step directions on creating the layout.  A search of documents, videos, etc. have brought up Gil's explanation at several different events. These have been helpful, but I'm in need of "step by step" on how to do it.  Has anyone recorded any videos, or has there been other training that I just can't find?

Thanks in Advance

There is always the Zoom room.  I have a friend who has volunteered to spend an hour or so with me on a private zoom session.  I have not scheduled that yet, but I believe that will be enough to get more over the top and started.  So my suggestion is to ask if anyone would spend time with you on a private mentoring session.  Since I know you I would do that, but I would useless right now since I probably know less that you.  I cannot even get my house to face forward yet.  sigh.

Sounds good Jim.

I'm really having trouble with "floating" items.  I guess a better description would be lining them up and at different levels.  Since my "stage" is a two hill valley with the viewing points being above it, and with the viewing area being a drive-thru, it gets mind boggling to put everything in the right place at the right level.  :(
