Adding Time to End of a Media Sequence
« on: August 19, 2021, 07:20:25 AM »
xLights Version = 2021.25 64bit
wxWidgets = 3.1.6
Sequence Type = Media
Sequence Duration = 135

Hi All,
Sorry if this has been asked but searching for this question did not yield results.  I am trying to have a sequence play an additional 10 seconds beyond the end of the song.  For example, the song itself has a duration of 125.000 and I want the sequence to play an additional 10 seconds beyond the end of the song.

In the "Sequence Settings" I added 10 seconds to the sequence duration (135.000) & render all and save the sequence. However, when playing the sequence, the player still stops at original 125.000 (the song duration) even though the sequence is 135.000.

I've attached a screenshot of the timeline bar which shows where the player gets "stuck" at 125.000 (the end of the actual song) even though the sequence has 10 seconds left to play.

Also, when the player is "stuck" at 125.000, the Player buttons also indicate that the sequence is still playing...

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
LS

Show players end when the audio file ends.  Easiest thing is just open the audio file in Audacity and add 10 seconds of silence to it.
