xlights Control of small pixel controller
« on: March 08, 2022, 12:41:03 PM »
I have used the Raspberry Pi 3 with Pi Cap in the past, but this is physically too large for my needs.

I am adding RGB to a hanging chandelier with (3) 12v 8x8 panels (photo below-total 40W).  I want to drive the panels with xlights and the answer needs to be wifi compatible.  I've used wireless DMX in the past but this takes it to the next level.

Does anybody know what is the smallest solution that is Falcon FPP compatible and will support an output of 40w of RGB Addressable Leds?

Thanks for the help,

Doug

I might have found a solution!!!

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W will run FPP.  The only problem is being able to find them "in stock".

I found the EspArtStick RGB Pi Hat controller for the Pi Zero.

I have 2 on order and am still looking for a Raspberry Pi Zero W2.

I'll let you know how it all works out.
