Hello all,

Can anyone give me any guidance for the subject?

I have heard it is possible but can't really find any good information for it.

This post taught me about the idea but I can't find any additional information for it

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=159492.0

Additionally it is for the "Ultimate" controller but I have the controller specified below from the same company.

I have a PAC64LED rgb controller.

Well I wrote the feature in xLights and made it work on my Mame machine.  Its basically just attempting to write the text file that LEDBlinky uses to run the leds.  If you use the LEDBlinky tools to create an animation you should be able to see the text file format to figure out if there are any differences in the format I have xLights writing out.  Not sure what you need to know.  Do you know how to use xLights at all?

Thank you for your reply here. I see what you are saying. Create something simple of both sides and compare to make sure they match.

I really didn't need to know much. I hadn't seen this discussed in a while because of small crowd I guess and I was wandering if it was still valid current day.

I do, enough to be dangerous and blow stuff up. I have used it to make a couple of LED signs (falcon pi player based)-- I believe we've talked in the past when I needed support (github etc.)

Thank you again for your response here. I was just trying to make sure I wasn't going to waste my time going down the path.

It was starting to look like I was going to end up using a Pi4 for my smaller scale arcade cabinet but I've had some struggles with getting the RGB LED pushbuttons to work with LEDSpicer/ RGBCommander (Linux based) so I may end up having to come back across to PC and go this route.

I've only run into 1 person that tried to use the feature.  I did it mainly for the challenge cause I don't really use it on my own stuff.
