Potential Bug - Add to Existing Group
« on: September 30, 2023, 11:31:52 AM »
Today when making some changes to the layout on one of my projects, I was attempting to add multiple existing models to an existing model group, and it appeared to not do anything.  Procedure I followed:

1)  Selected the layout tab
2)  Held Ctrl (Windows) to select multiple models (4, 7, and 3 in my tests)
3)  In the models list, right clicked one of the selected models (ensuring to not de-select the entire group), choosing add selections to existing groups
4)  In the group selection dialog, I select the existing group
5)  Click ok
6)  Navigated to the group in the models list that I just added to
7)  Verified that the models were not added

I am running Windows 11
Xlights 2023.14 64-bit
wxWidgets 3.3.0

I've performed this task countless times over the years and I've not had an issue with the procedure.  Not saying I couldn't be making a mistake; however, if I am it is evading me a the moment.

In the sequencer,
Right click on a prop
Choose Edit display elements
Any groups or props in the left window need to be added to the right window.
You can also re-arrange props in the right window using the up and down arrows.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately that's not what I am talking about.  I am referring to grouping items in the layout tab.
