I am trying to get a better handle on making timing marks for a sound files in V4.10. I may be doing something wrong, but I find the existing method awkward(for me) to use:
Play the song..remember where I want a timing mark..stop the song..drag a high-light to where I want the timing mark and then press T.
The alternative is to play the song..stop where I want a timing mark..click on the stop mark to select it and then press S.
One method I have tried and seems to be easier, is to use Audacity to mark up a sound file on the fly using CTL M. Then label, save, and drop the timing file into Nutcracker. Then you can go back and tweak the timing marks locations to the exact location to remove the human response time error.
Perhaps a mark on the fly feature could be added to Nutcracker like Audacity?
A 1/2 or 1/4 play speed would also be helpful.
