I have noticed other posts about crashes and I experienced one today, but figured out what caused it.
I had used a minitree sequence for 10 mini trees created by jonb256 and reduced it to a smaller version. When I saved the smaller version the system crashed. The xlights_rgbeffects file had groupings in it that did not get downsized. I opened the file in Notepad++ and changed the grouping portion to reflect the now missing trees and saved the file. When I reopened the file everything worked fine.
I post this because this type of problem may be causing other crashes and I wanted to let Gil and others know what happened and why.
