People; i will setup a pay system, but first let me ask about the date.
I have march 19,20 reserved with the Palace station. The airfare is highest in Vegas on two weeks, one in spring (The week i picked) and once in October. This week I picked has the highest airfare.
Round trip for myself was $292 per person on Southwest. So $600 for my wife and myself.
One other weekend that is open is one month later, April 16,17. $142 round trip on Southwest. So <$300 for my wife and myself.

I looked and it appears all airfares from around the country are cheaper on april 16 as compared to mar 18th.

Further, the room rates are a little cheaper in April.
Hotels.com shows Palace Station: Mar 19 $112/night, Apr 17 $90/night.

So Mar 19 or April 17?

Same issue for me on flights.  Either works for me but prefer April due to price.  Anne

No difference in prices from XNA (Northwest Arkansas) - ok, $20 cheaper in April but that doesn't count when it's over $1,000 for the two of us on both dates. 


We would prefer March for other reasons (planning, conflicts, etc.).

The Lone Star Holidays group is hosting their Spring Academy in Houston on April 2-3, 2016.

I'd prefer to do the Seminar first in March -- so that we can pass along some of the info that we learn with the Houston crowd.

Strike that... the savings for everyone is too significant.  Disregard my vote for March.
