Hello all – I have a question about controllers. At the moment, I have LOR AC controllers and some LOR DC CMB24 dumb RGB controllers. For the upcoming season, I will outfit the roofline with smart RGB pixel strip so I have ordered some smart RGB DMX E1.31 controllers (AlphaPix 4 and 16). Each strip has 300 individually addressable pixels (900 channels).
While I realize that I can run all of these controllers with xLights, I may not have enough time to make a clean break from LOR S3 with Pixel Editor before the season starts. If that is the case, will LOR S3 run the additional Ethernet-based controllers with DMX?
I’ve got everything (all my LOR AC and DC controllers) successfully receiving DMX signals from LOR S3 at the moment but haven’t yet received the AlphaPix smart RGB E1.31 controllers so I haven’t tested them yet.
