You can now do Papagayo effects natively in xLights. There are two videos (see link on Wiki) that show you how to do so.

So not sure if anyone is still doing it the old way using PapaAssist

I removed the Papagayo links and the papaassist program. We do not recommend you use the old (2008) Papagayo program since it had many issues (can only sequence about 1 minute, layout of phrases took whole song, you had to stitsch multiple faces *.pgo files together. Pappa Assist was written to try and fix some of the issues with that old software.

I think we were confusing people when we recommend using the new Papagayo code that is built into Xlights 4 and then show the method we used from 65 versions ago.

The Pappa Assist program is still on my server. nutcracker123.com/nutcracker/releases/PapaAssistsetup.exe, we just don't recommend using that anymore.

So, I updated the web page to remove links to the 2008 Papagayo.exe program and to remove links to the Pappa Assist program that fixed issues in that program.

If you are doing singing faces, use our new code , it is so much easier.

+1, so true!  Use what's in xLights natively.
