Pixels and Floods
« on: November 10, 2015, 07:40:15 AM »
Hi All,

I've got a Pixlite 16 and a LOR DC controller - I plan on running my pixels on the pixlite and my RGB floods on the dc controller.

What i would like to know is, is there a way i can control both of these within xLights ? E.g. Create pixel show and also have the floods in the timeline?

Thanks

Yes you can do that!

Do not ask to know all the answers, but ask to understand the question.

hello Chris,

Am assuming that you want to know how to do it ? I don't know anything about the LOR DC controller . Would it be connected to the DMX output of the Pixlite or will it be connected separately ?

In any case , define your models and assign the channels.
Then in the setup tab you may the channels to the universes and specify the protocol. The Pixlite output is E131 and if the DC controller is connected to the Pixlite DMX output , then it will also be defined as E131 .
