Logan, I'm getting good response to my "port" of your StarWarsFunk display. Thanks for sharing. I'll keep tweaking some as I watch, but it is looking pretty sweet now. (and I don't have a Pixel Megatree - that got moved to my 40x30 horizontal matrix.

Looking forward to seeing the video 😄

Yes, I have "ported" this into my display and everyone loves it!

It's genius!

Logan...
Unless I missed it I couldn't find the laser sounds from the beginning in the Star Wars Disco song.  I wanted to try to find an associated video clip to match the sounds if anyone knows a scene that's from.

Yes the audio file is actually some Darth breathing taken from a YouTube clip, light sabre sound from another and then the two music files all mixed in Audacity. That's why I realised in the end  I needed to have the audio file for the sequence in my Dropbox folder as the beginning sounds were not part of the songs.
I can't remember which video clips I nicked them from.

Hi Logan
Thanks for taking the time to share your great work.
I'm having a little trouble adding the images. I can add the PNG images and they work well. When I dd the  the Gif the image doesn't work on the models. Do I need to use the Piskel files to see movement in the images?

Cheers
John

As far as I know the gif files are animated gif files (made with PISKEL) so they should have all the frames of movement with them. Where you have them stored on your computer, when you click on the gif image in finder (mac) or explorer (windows) do you see a version of the gif image moving? You could always download PISKEL and see when you load them into that application that all the frames of the animated gif image are there.
Having said that, they should just work ok in xlights as far as I know.
Anyone more knowledgeable than I know why this would be happening?

You should have been able to just globally rename all the image paths in the xml file before you opened it like we've stated a few times.  Then render/save and they work.

So thinking about this...

You should have been able to just globally rename all the image paths in the xml file before you opened it like we've stated a few times.  Then render/save and they work.

Could the xml files reference absolute or relative paths to files to load in this sequence case something like this...

Code: [Select]
...
E_FILEPICKER_Pictures_Filename=./media/Milenium falcon flyin2.gif
...

That way it would make it a ton easier to share sequences if you had the full folder.

Very nice version  ;D. Star wars pure.  8)
After working on the sequence for so long, when I went back to listen to the Star Wars Cantina Band song again, I had forgotten how fast it originally was   :o
