Issue Converting .vix to .fseq in 4.2.25

Hi all. I'm trying to convert my 4 channel 25ms .vix 2.1 sequence to fseq using xLights 4.2.25. When I try to convert, one of two things happens. If I don't copy the corresponding profile to the xLights folder, it alerts me, but does convert it, however the sequence is all out whack. If I do copy the profile into the xLights folder, it notifies me with a debug report, then crashes when I start the conversion.

Any help please?

Did you create any channels?

Create any channels in xLights? No. I went straight for the conversion. Is that something you're supposed to do?

Bump, really not sure what to do here. I tried converting the same sequence on another computer, and encountered the same issue.

Also tried converting another sequence/profile combination and had the same error. Have tried different versions of xLights with no success.

Sorry I haven't had time to experiment with this.  Did you try creating enough channels to cover how many you have?  You can just create one big null output.  That's the first experiment I would try.

Thank you for your assistance. Being the excited noob I am, I made a noob error and didn't define my setup, hence the lack of xlights_networks.xml. Got it all working now!
