scrolling up and down in the grid
« on: January 30, 2016, 01:29:31 PM »
I have added X number models to the grid. Now I cannot see them on the screen to add effects. How do I make the grid so that I can scroll up and down.

I think I've seen a hiccup where it won't let you scroll but I was able to get past it by right-clicking on the row heading, selecting Edit Display Elements, and then close the dialog and then the scrollbar let me see everything.  Make sure all the models you want to see are in the View you are selecting.

Also, if I decide to make some models into a group how do I delete those models from the grid,
If I make groups maybe that will help. If I combine the models into a group it will take up less room, won't it?

Editing: I combine 3 different models into groups, and added the groups to the grid. and now they are at the bottom of the grid. So I need to delete the individual models from the grid??

Try double clicking one of your elements to open it up (node or strand level) and then double clicking on it again to close it. This has worked for me when I wasn't able to scroll all of my models.

I  figured it out.
Right click on the Model in left hand column of the grid, select 'Edit Display Elements" the Timings/Models window will open, then delete the model from the Timings/Models box.

The easiest way to is expand then collapse a layer.  I guess it just needs a refresh.
