Never mind. I determined it was operator rusty error.

When you load an older sequence from last year and try to add groups the group information is not added to the sequence.

If I'm following you correctly, that's not a bug. You need to edit your view and add them. Unlike Vixen, which puts everything in the sequencer, xlights allows you to pick and choose (much better).
