SineDoubleSpiral

Here is an effect I thought I'd share.  It was made on 16x50 tree, 270 degrees.

The second effect is modified from the original to make a cleaner single layer effect.  It just shows what can be done with a simple effect and the value curves.

There are more effects below.

None, you import it via the presets menu.

Here are three more.  The first effect was the start of the SineDoubleSpiral that I played with the value curves.

Right-click in any layer. Select the Effect Preset entry. Click on the Import button in the new window that opens to import one of the preset files. To insert a preset into a sequence, double-cling the desired preset.

I've been playing with the spiral effects and I have to say that Gil, Dan, and Keith have given us some wonderful effects to work with.  The possibilities are out there for the creative ones.   I also would like to point out that if you ask Gil an intelligent question, he gives good advice, so I named one of my effects for his help creating it.
I am adding two more for those that need effects for their sequences.  I hope you enjoy.

More hand holding please.....  I'm running 2016.50 and I don't see any option to select an Effect Preset anywhere.  What tab/screen does it show up on?  Is it supposed to be in the 'Sequencer' when you have a sequence open?

Step 1 Open any sequence highlight a block within the sequence on any one of your props. Step 2 right click the highlighted block, in that window that pops up select effect presets. Step 3 select the import button and find the files that you downloaded then click open. Step 1 and 2 we'll get you back to effect presets where you can use the file and use the apply preset button. I didn't include every small detail you should be able to figure it out

Some neat presets in here, cannot say I have seen a couple of them in the standard nutcracker effects videos either.
