Sub models for groups?
« on: October 20, 2016, 11:14:41 AM »
I was doing some playing around with my group of spinners changing the layout mode. I was able to get some pretty fun looking stuff when I changed things but it would mess up any sequence that I'd already had made. Then it dawned on me this might be a possibility for a drop down in the group like the submodels are for the model. Not sure if this is a good or a bad idea but there it is. Yes I know I could make a whole different grouping

All that Layout mode does is define the "Default" layout for the group.  When you place effects you can change the "Render Style" to whatever you want for every effect.  That is basically change the layout mode on a per effect basis.

Thanks. Makes sense but maybe a couple more render styles like you have in the layout screen. Single line horizontal single line vertical Exedra. I know you're probably rolling your eyes going this guy doesn't know what he's asking of us.

The list is dynamic and changes per model type.  I think you already have what you're asking for.
