Importing Sequence

So I am working on importing a sequence and running into an issue with importing/converting some elements from RGB to LED/incandescent.

I have built my network, built all my models, built in the channels making sure I have no overlaps and built the mapping file from the donor sequence into my sequence.

My LED/Incandescent models are defined as single strand.

When I map the RGB element from the donor sequence to my sequence it does import all the RGB effects to the led models.

From watching Sean's video on building a mapping file last night I was under the impression/hopes the rgb models would pull into the led models and just cut them on, off, shimmer, etc. 

Could I be doing something wrong or am I just mistaken on how this works.  This is my first time importing a sequence.

Please let me know what other information I can provide to help troubleshoot or take a look at this.

You're single strand models will only respond to White or the color that the Strand is set up as. If you bring a red effect on to a blue single strand model nothing will happen. You will have to go through and highlight the effects and choose the color of the model or white and click update
