Thanks for quick reply Gill. I appreciate the addition of these keyboard shortcuts, more shortcuts are always welcome so things can be done faster.

I didn't know audacity used p. I used pause because I didn't want to break any existing bindings users may have defined. No harm adding a p if you want.

I have modified the pinwheel effect so it looks as expected for Lilia's sequence (it will always make sure there is a visible line now even if the thickness is smaller than a pixel

I tried this on .56 and its a little different than .55 but still pretty far off from .54 (see pics).   This may not be evident in other pinwheel effects, but it turns out this "Lilia cross" effect in .54 got the most "oooohs" and "aaaahs" from my visitors so I finished out the year by staying at .54 and will need to figure out how to redo the "Lilia cross" for next year  :-\

I'd have to double check but that is what I remembered.  I had several people asking for a pause last year and I remember firing up Audacity to figure out how it worked.  It's fine to leave the other keys.

I know some users want to be able to customize every key but that gets to be a support issue when telling people how to do something and they've changed their keys from what you are instructing.  Then you need to preface every tip with "If you are using the default keyboard settings...".
