xx xLights Conference 2017, Las Vegas. May 20,21 at Palace Station Casino

How is a "Southwest" xLights Expo different from the xLights Vegas Seminars Sean organized the last 2 years?  The reason he is trying to move it to the same week as the Expo is because many of the users that attended the seminar made that request.  They said since they attend the Expo anyways it would be easier to just buy flight tickets for one trip instead of two and just get there a couple days early.

I've already booked the hotel for the 2018 Christmas Expo and would gladly attend the Xlights seminar if it were there. Great Idea Sean!

If there is a chance that a Xlights Conference might take place in Dallas, I'll start looking at tickets. Looks like the Christmas Expo is July 19-21 in Mesquite, TX. Has it ever been brought up to join with them? Looks like there is a LOR workshop.

Umm that's exactly we've been talking about.  See Jim's quote from earlier in the thread.

There is work being done to do one in conjunction with the Christmas Expo in July in the Dallas area.  But I have no idea if that one would be streamed.
