Xlights 2017 Conference, Las Vegas
When: May 20&21 2017
Where: Palace Station,Las Vegas. Salon B,C,D
This year we will have two rooms!! This means twice the hours than last year, same price as last year.
Room 1: will be hosted by Sean Meighan teaching beginning/intermediate xLights. We will cover everything from not knowing how to spell xLights to getting your first show running. This session will cover creating models and groups, best way to layout house, how to mark up timing marks, over view of all effects, how to import LOR sequences two different ways, how to setup scheduler using FPP and the new xSchedule.exe program.
Room 2: will be covering advanced xLights. Teachers will be Keith Westley (He is flying in from Australia), Gil Jones (I expect his skulltronix skull will be part of demo) and Lilia Meighan showing how to create effective sequences. Advanced topics cover timing marks, best ways to create singing faces (3 methods), layering, how to setup rds, triggers for your FPP show and more.
Schedule: meet at 8am and start 8:30am to 5pm daily .
There are two ways to attend:
1) In person, Cost $200 for weekend
2) via zoom webinar. $40 to be able to stream from either of the rooms for the weekend.
both webinar and seminar attendees will be given a link to download the raw video footage that will be made. This will be 32 hours or around 60 gbytes.
Lilia will offer one free sequence to all attendees (her choice for sequence). We will also raffle off one sequence (you pick from 43 choices) for seminar attendees and 1 sequence for webinar attendees (You pick from 43 choices).
Agenda for the two rooms will be posted in the next few weeks. I am going to take polls in the next few weeks to see what subjects users might want to see covered.
