fill effect
« on: April 06, 2017, 12:48:23 PM »
A question I was looking at effects today and I'm trying to figure out the fill effect. It does not seem to work at all. I was looking at the effects in the manual and my effect page does not appear to have all control options. I have never tried this effect so I do not know what is supposed to be there. I have upgraded xLights with in the last month, so I'm fairly current. Let me know if you need more info.  Charlie J.

The fill effect is an extremely simple effect that was mainly intended to be used with a value curve. The first slider controls where it fills up to. Using a value curve will change the amount of fill over time.

You probably have the direction set wrong.  Don't tell it go Up if the model is a horizontal line and don't tell it to go right if it's a vertical line.

Thanks, after looking at your instructions and working with the effect I got it to work. My concern was in the on-line manual the screen shot was a bit different than what was on my computer. It is working never the less, Thanks  Charlie J.
