adding a papagayo sequence to an existing sequence
« on: October 21, 2014, 08:54:50 PM »
I have worked on a long sequence (10 mins) and would like to add in some image faces in some areas of the sequence. How best to do this

I have a pgo that is 1m30s long (~1200 pgo frames) that I want to play on my megatree at the right time (30 seconds into the sequence) and add another smaller one towards the end. there is only one voice.

do I have to create the xml file from the pgo and then merge the xml files together at the right timing mark in the main sequence.

btw this sequence is for believe in holiday magic and I want to use the megatree for the voice over parts.

30 seconds is 600 frames (we are always 20fps). I will get don to add a prompt for shifting the start of a pgo file. If u want it right now, u need to go to every line that has a frame number and add 600 to it. Finally use the merge.awk script that is in the bin subdirectory where xlights was installed. That will join multiple xml files together
