Xlights to Falcon f16v2 addressing

Sorry to trouble you, have had a brain fade and lost my understanding Had trouble with the auto channel mapping ( only mapping one universe - I'm doing something wrong. which I will address with Kieth/the group on Friday's Zoom) so decided to go back and do it manually. Now I got lost!. So in my simple terms this this is what I think I need to do--
1. Set 32 universes of E13.1 at 510 channels in Xlights. 2. Do the exact same in Falcon F16v2
3. Set up my models as universe/start channel with models on same cable run chained.
4.Set for each model the controller connection field
5. In Falconf16v2 set the string ports to total number of pixels on that cable run.
Then it should be good to go - or have I missed something!
I know its a silly nebie question-but I have just got myself very confused!

You need to make sure that you are setting the string ports for the correct universe on the F16.  Many people assume that the string port is the universe number, but they are not the same thing.  They can be, but they don't have to be.
