fseq files go to your show directory.
I putt all my xml files into the show directory When i render the fseq files then go to same place.
we already have a directory for audio files
and a directory for show directory. Thi sis where the xml and fseq files go
we would need to add a third directory "The place to store fseq files" to fulfill your request.
We probably wont do that unless a larger group of users sees the need. xml and fseq files have been going into the show directory for 5 years, your post is the first time this has been brought up. I am not saying it wouldnt be done, i just dont see the use case of why?
Sean - FWIW - a good use case for a separate FSEQ directory would be for those of us who would like to have all of their data, xml, media etc. on a shared / cloud drive ie: OneDrive. Everything we work with in Xlights is pretty small and sync's quickly between multiple PCs (3 in my case, addicted, so I can work anywhere.) However, considering the frequency of changes to the FSEQ files and their file size, it would be cool to put them in a not-replicating directory. Of course, if OneDrive basic actually let you do file management, then you could just exclude the file type, so maybe its because I am cheap and not paying for cloud storage, but it's just a thought as a useful option.
