The link works if you copy/paste the actual link and not the "Vimeo Link:" characters.  I'm used to doing that because 75% of the users don't know how to post an actual clickable link.

And if you use google chrome you can highlight the link and right click.  viola you see the words "go to ......" whatever you highlighted.
