Sorry but I don't understand what you mean. Are you saying the effects are probably there and I just can't see them? I've clicked on the model to expand the view of the individual strings. Is that what your suggesting? Thanks

You double-click the model name in the row header to expand it to see the strands.  Then you double-click each strand to see its nodes.  Or just right-click any header and choose "Show All Effects".

Thanks Gilrock, I did what you suggested and unfortunately the effects are not converting over from LOR. Any other ideas on how to create an AC, 24 channel, three color mega tree without overlaying the model 8 times for each color? I also have the same problem with the 8 channel arches. Any and all ideas are very much welcome and appreciated!! Thanks

If you could post a zip file with an LMS file you want to import and do a Tools -> Package Log Files in xLights to give me whatever you've done I can try to take a look at it soon.

If the LMS file is huge maybe you can trim it down to just a small sample of effects.

Ok, I'll give it a try. Please remember I'm not a computer guy and it might take me some time to figure out what files your talking about and how to attach them. I'm assuming the LMS file your talking about is an LOR file of the sequence that I imported. Thanks

Ok, I believe these are the files you requested. Let me know if I did it correctly and if you need anything else.

I think I've got right log files attached now. Sorry

Ok you got me the LMS file now do the Tools -> Package Log Files I asked for in xLights.  It's on the xLights menu bar.

Is the last file I attached the correct one for the log files?

Yes that will work.  I can recreate your entire xLights layout with that.

The sequencing on the MegaTreeW effect I manually sequenced in xLights. It did not come over from the LOR conversion.

Oh I forgot to ask you for a mapping file.  When you did the import you should have saved a mapping file if you can post it.

Try this.
1) Create a new sequence and leave it open.
2) Select Menu item Import -> Import Effects.
3) Select the LMS file.
4) Hit the Automap button at the bottom of the dialog.
5) Hit OK.
6) Enjoy your imported effects.

Now I did find some issues to sort out but this would get you some effects imported and you could delete what you don't want and/or copy them to another sequence.

Here is what I think is the mapping file.

The steps you laid out to import effects is the way I've been doing it with the exception that I pull some of the available effects over to the mapping side before I hit OK. The problem is that with the mega tree effect I don't see the 8 individual strands on the mapping side. It only list one effect for each color.

I did overlay the mega tree with 8 individual models in white just to see if they would import and it worked fine.

FYI - It's only the effects that have multiple strings i.e. the mega tree, spiral tree and arches that's giving me problems.
