WARM WHITE as Default Setting
« on: January 17, 2018, 11:22:34 AM »
I know there are custom colors, but would it be possible to define a color balance for the entire software so that 100% of Red, White and Blue yields a Warm White (or any time all three color intensities are set the same) ?  I know this impact every color, since the mix would be different.  It's probably not as simple as it sounds.

I also have a similar suggestion for the hardware, so this could be a discussion between both of you.  What I am going to ask Falcon is if the Port Configuration page could be modified to set the max percent brightness for R, G, and B outputs per string instead of the whole string.  That would let someone tune the whole show to warm white!

Sure...can you tell us what values work for every pixel string out there?

Since its your first post maybe you're new and didn't know about the color curve feature.  Every model can have a custom color curve defined so the bottom line is we put it in your hands to figure out how you want the color values to react on your model.  Different brands of pixels will need different curves.

You are correct.  I was pointed to the curves from the Facebook page.  I think this one is solved, and much better than I expected.  This software is amazing ..
