model display
« on: October 30, 2018, 11:37:06 AM »
See the attached files. two "model screen shots and two

These are two different Mega trees.  The GECE Tree is a 10 GECE string (folded to make 3 strands), 16 LED per Strand.  The  AG mega tree is 10 flat ribbon strings of 240 LEDS each.

Screen shot "11:05.26 is the GECE mega tree and the 11:04.59 is the Ag mega tree.  Why the difference in apprearance?

Because one has 240 nodes per strand and the other only 15

BTW: The GECE spiral looks very good, where as the AG Mega tree is less desirable.  It looks as if the spiral colors go down, not looking much like a spiral.

look at the video... the AG Mega tree doesn't look as I would expect.

The AG mega tree is on the left

Are you concerned that the spiral effect looks different on the 2 trees ... rather than the 2 trees looking different?

The reason they look different is the model resolution is different. It is quite normal to need to tweak some effect settings when you move effects between models of different dimensions.

I would adjust the rotations property from memory on the spirals effect.
